I'm Emma. I'm a graphic designer and maker based in Grand Rapids, MI. In addition to being a freelance designer, I work as a Studio Coordinator at Sweda Studio.
I value human-centered design that seeks to communicate with ingenuity, transparency, and empathy. I am drawn towards a variety of media, particularly ceramics, collage, and printmaking. The analogue processes of my work often informs the digital.
In my free time you can usually find me throwing pottery at Sweda Studio, catching up with a friend at a cafe, baking something, or hanging out with my sweet kitties, Roo and Bug. Let’s chat over coffee sometime!
